Installation
- Mark two fixing holes on ceiling or wall using the bracket as a template; insert plastic anchors and mount the bracket firmly
- Insert battery into the rear compartment; rotate the alarm clockwise until it clicks into place
- After installation, the LED flashes approximately once per minute to indicate normal operation
Testing: Hold the test button for at least 3 seconds — a clear pulsed alarm tone indicates normal function.
Installation Guidelines
- Avoid locations near doors, windows, or fans where air moves quickly
- Do not install in bathrooms or other high-humidity / high-temperature areas
- Keep a 0.5m clear space around the detector
- Minimum 1.5m horizontal distance from air conditioning vents; minimum 0.5m from walls and beams
- Install horizontally; maximum tilt angle 45°
- Conduct a simulated fire test every six months
Maintenance
Clean with a soft brush every six months. If the test button produces no sound or smoke testing fails, check the power supply or contact us for service.
